Education and professional development
In 2015, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree “Archaeology” at the University of St. Kliment Ohridski. In 2023, he joined the team of the Center for Underwater Archaeology.
Professional interests and experience
His interests relate to prehistoric societies and cultures along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, changes in the paleoenvironment and their impact on ancient societies, and modern methods for non-destructive searches and studies of underwater archaeological sites.
Since 2019, he has participated in underwater archaeological research as a member of the CPA team, among which the prehistoric settlements in the bays at the mouth of the Ropotamo River and the port of Sozopol, the remains of historical periods in the water area of Ancient Nessebar, the shipwreck “Urdoviza” in the southern bay of Kiten.
