EDUCATION
Alexandra Nedeva holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (2016) and a Master’s degree in Cultural Management (2019) from New Bulgarian University, Sofia. She is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Contemporary Museum Exhibitions in Historical and Archaeological Museums (2024–ongoing) at the same university. She also studied Corporate Law at the University of Mannheim, Germany (2012–2014).

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Since April 2025, Alexandra Nedeva has been the Public Relations Specialist at the Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Sozopol, Bulgaria. In this role, she is responsible for communication strategies, media outreach, and promoting the Centre’s activities to both professional and public audiences. Prior to this, she worked as a Community Manager at Campus X, Sofia, Bulgaria, where she organized events, built community relations, and coordinated with external partners. She has also worked as a Gallerist at Nuance Art Gallery, where she organized exhibitions, and held positions in administrative, cultural, and public relations management at Roche Bulgaria, SOHO Sofia, The Red House Centre for Culture and Debate “Andrey Nikolov”, and the European Parliament in Bulgaria. These roles have given her broad experience in event planning, cultural programming, institutional communication, and audience engagement.

TRAINING AND COURSES
Alexandra’s expertise is supported by a number of specialized trainings, including the 2024 Curatorial School at the Christo and Jeanne-Claude Center in Gabrovo. This five-month program combined practical teamwork on exhibition projects with a strong theoretical foundation in curatorial practice and contemporary philosophy. She has also completed courses in contemporary art, art analysis, and public diplomacy.

VOLUNTEERING
She was part of the organizing team behind the kvARTal Festival in Sofia (2016, 2018), an initiative aimed at revitalizing the city’s historic center through art, culture, and community events.
